Demolition of Hurricane Irma-ravaged Sonesta Great Bay Beach Resort in Philipsburg has commenced. Current property owner Canada-based travel company Sunwing has plans to build a new high-end resort to replace the now closed couples-only all-inclusive 257-room resort.
