The annual Causeway Jump-Up on Friday evening signalled the start of the Carnival season. Four music trucks entertained thousands who came out to the event organised by St. Maarten Carnival Development Foundation (SCDF).
The Jump-Up was incident-free and SCDF thanked revellers who came out to the streets. Mixmaster Pauly proved for the fifth year in a row that he had the most jumpers behind his KFC-sponsored truck.
