ANGUILLA--Digicel has announced that Kerchell Jn Charles-Hodge is the new Chief Executive Officer for its Anguilla operations. In this role she will have oversight for all operational and business while adopting a digital first strategy across the business. She replaces outgoing CEO Ronan McGrane who is transitioning into another market.

Kerchelle joined Digicel in 2006 as a Marketing Executive for Digicel St. Lucia, the island where she was born. In March 2014 she was appointed Head of Commercial in Anguilla and played an integral role in the successful merger of Caribbean Cable Communications with Digicel.

“I am excited about this next phase of my journey with Digicel,” Kerchelle said, “especially as we continue our transition into a complete communications and entertainment provider in Anguilla.” She noted that across all platforms including digital, entertainment, business or mobile, customers expect seamless connectivity and the best experience. “I am looking forward to continue working with the team to listen to our customers and deliver on our commitment to them,” she said. “I am also enthusiastic about our continued capital investments in the mobile and broadband networks which will not only ensure that Anguilla remains as the preferred destination for business and leisure, but an opportunity to embrace and bring the new data to all Anguillians.”

CEO for Digicel Caribbean and Central America, Vanessa Slowey said she is delighted to welcome Kerchelle to the position. “Kerchelle’s growth has been remarkable to watch over the years and given her track record, I have no doubt that she will take our Anguilla operations to the next level, ensuring the best communications experience to all our customers.”
