MARIGOT--Two Caribbean Sail Training (CST) member vessels, again hosted by the Port of Marigot, could be seen over the week-end and Monday in the Bay of Marigot, CST disclosed in a short release.

The three-masted vessel Salomon arrived two weeks ago, and when the Polish two-masted Fryderyk Chopin sailed in on Thursday, some of its crew and trainees were happy to do some sail training practice on another ship by giving a helping hand Friday morning on board Salomon to arrange her sails for the heavy winds that had been predicted. Salomon will remain for a while anchored in the bay.

Fryderyk Chopin arrived from Barbados to St. Maarten-St. Martin to do some maintenance work and will depart later to the Virgin Islands. She will come back to St. Martin in the next few weeks.

Both ships will most probably participate together with other Sail Training Vessels in the Tall Ship’s Day on March 1, sailing from Philipsburg to Anguilla and Marigot.
