CPS invites public to lung care lecture

PHILIPSBURG--Members of the community can learn more about caring for their lungs at a free lecture on lung at the Belair Community Centre from 6:00 to 7:00pm Saturday, September 8.

The Health Ministry’s Collective Prevention Services (CPS) urges the public to attend. “An informed decision can assist [a person – Ed.] in staying healthy and mobile within a healthy community,” it was stated in a press release on Thursday.

Johan Kooistra, an expert in the field of lung medication and inhalation technology, will deliver the lecture presented by BENU pharmacy of the Visser group.

Kooistra will speak about the lungs and how to take care of them. He will also speak about what to avoid when persons experience lung problems, and about the correct use of asthma inhalers.

CPS said particularly those persons who have a special interest lung care and those who experience problems with their lungs and use inhalers as medication should attend.
