‘Common Good in Public Square’ launched by Housing Foundation

BELVEDERE--St. Maarten Housing Development Foundation (SMHDF) is working on boosting community spirit and keeping its tenants and residents up-to-date on matters related to the Foundation with the launch of its newest programme – “Common Good in the Public Square” – on Monday in Belvedere Community Centre.

The three weeks of information sessions is seen by the Foundation as “a distinctive platform to promote democratic dialog within our communities.” The session will run Monday to Friday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm in the Community Centre until Friday, June 30. Tenants have been invited per street for the sessions.

The sessions are organised in collaboration with the Belvedere Community Police Officer and the Hygiene Department of the Ministry of Public Health.
