Holi, the festival of colours and spring, was celebrated by Hindus in St. Maarten and around the world on Friday.
The St. Maarten Hindu Organisation held a Holi family day in Emilio Wilson Cultural and Historical Park on Sunday. The fun included the dabbing of coloured powder on each other and dousing with coloured water in celebration of the return of spring and the renewal of nature.
