Three students from Gwendoline van Putten (GvP) secondary school presented a donation to Golden Rock Cancer Awareness Foundation (GRCAF) in St. Eustatius. Sergina Bryson, Jertino Marsdin and Laylies Courtar (in photo from left) went out on their own initiative and collected donations from their schoolmates.
The donation will go towards the foundation’s drive to spread awareness about cancer, as well as helping other cancer survivors and the less fortunate in the community. GRCAF’s motto is: “Early detection saves lives.” Also in photo are teacher Vanessa Bennett (centre) and GRCAF board members.
