PHILIPSBURG--The Asset Recovery Team, a collaboration of the St. Maarten Police Force (KPSM), the St. Maarten Tax Authority, Customs, the Dutch Caribbean Coast Guard and the Prosecutor’s Office, seized a Mazda Miata and a Ducati motorbike on Thursday in connection with the ongoing Kes investigation.

The investigation involves a woman T.M.M. and a man O.L.M.H. suspected of money-laundering, forgery and tax-evasion. With the assistance of the police, the bike was confiscated on Arch Road on Thursday.

A car was seized during the first action of the Asset Recovery Team on Thursday, July 26, and a house was searched on Meadowlands Drive in Cul de Sac. The suspects are currently not in custody.
