PHILIPSBURG-- The two men suspected of killing Franky Brunache on January 24 this year in front of his home in Hope Estate appeared in the Court of First Instance on Thursday.
The case is code-named Broccoli. The suspects are H.F.M. and H.H.M. and according the Prosecutor, they gunned down Brunache in cold blood near the driveway at his home. During their Pro Forma hearing, lawyers requested the suspension of their clients’ detention.
The request for suspension by the lawyers was denied by the judge. The Prosecutor informed the Judge that the investigation in this case is ongoing.
The judge found the nature of the crime too severe and agreed with the prosecution to keep the two suspects in custody until the case is dealt with.
The case is now going to Court on September 27 at 9:00am.
