Book Week

Commissioner Rolando Wilson officially opened Saba Book Week 2017 on Monday at Sacred Heart School. The Commissioner encouraged each student to read daily, as this will broaden their vocabulary and knowledge. Book Week is an annual event hosted by the Queen Wilhelmina Public Library that promotes literacy, both in reading and in writing. The theme for this year is “Nursery Rhymes.” The winners for this year’s slogan Antonio Suarez (Grade5A) and for design Anhilina Petit-Homme (Form 2) were presented with their prizes by Acting Island Governor Franklin Wilson and Commissioner Wilson. The “Best class at the Library” trophy went to K2 and Teacher Inge.
