The McDonald’s Restaurant drive-thru in Belvedere opens today, Saturday, at 10:00am. The fast-food establishment sustained minimal damage during the passing of category five Hurricane Irma last year, but the looting that took place hours after the passing of the system crippled the restaurant from quickly reopening.
All McDonald’s locations are now open for business with the exception of Philipsburg, which will not be reopening. The entire Belvedere location will be open by Wednesday, but the full menu is available for customers via its drive-thru from today, Saturday. Managing Director Michel Lepine said the restaurants are hiring and anyone who is interested to work can apply at the McDonald’s location in Simpson Bay.
