Yesterday the crew of a Venezuelan barge stationed in Simpson Bay Lagoon made a voluntary effort and were able to lift the boat stranded at the causeway with an Australian family living on it since Hurricane Irma.
Martin Antonio, one of the crew of “TECNAVE” (Tecnologia Naval de Venezuela), said that the children were so happy; running all over and hugging their mother when they saw their boat being lifted. Today from 8:00am the Venezuelans were continuing to help the family get the yacht ready to sail.
