Bank gives big

Scotiabank has supported various relief efforts following Hurricane Irma in 2017. Donations of $25,000, $20,000 and $5,000 were made to National Institute for the Arts, the Lions Club and Dr. J Foundation respectively.

Organisations were selected based on their impact and focus on youth in keeping with Scotiabank’s global philanthropy focus. Scotiabank Country Head Garfield White said, “We are proud to make donations to these worthy organisations which are all continuing to work to support families and youth who need assistance following last year’s devastating hurricanes.” (John Halley photos)
