At regional aviation meet

Princess Juliana International Airport (PJIA) Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ravi Daryanani was among panellists at the recently-concluded Caribbean Aviation Day hosted by the International Air Transportation Association (IATA), the Caribbean Development Bank and the Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association ALTA at Hilton Barbados Resort.

The “Executive CEO Chat” addressed the theme: “Challenges facing the Caribbean Aviation Growth and Intra-Connectivity.” The other panellists included the LIAT CEO Julie Reifer-Jones, Bahamas-Air Managing Director Tracy Cooper, Caribbean Tourism Organisation Secretary-General Hugh Riley and Rogers Media House media consultant Julian Rogers. The chat is a traditional flagship panel at IATA Aviation Days, bringing senior executives of the aviation industry together to discuss some of the challenges the industry has faced over the past year and is likely to face in coming years.
