Ancient and classical dance

After a four-year hiatus, the classic Indian dance production Nrityaarpan returns to the stage on Sunday, May 28, in Belair Community Centre, starting at 6:30pm. This exclusively Bharatanatyam (ancient and classical Indian dance form) is presented by the Sai Trishul Foundation and choreographed by Aparna Samaga. The choreographer and her some 40 students have been preparing to take the stage to share their talent.

Tickets in advance cost US $15 for adults and children US $10 (ages 5 to 10). Prices will increase by US $5 at the door. Tickets are available from the National Institute of Arts (NIA), Kam’s Food World, Blue Rivera, Victorious and Oro Diamante. (File photo of the past show)
