Air France announces flights to St. Maarten starting January 13

MARIGOT--Air France has announced it will start direct flights every Saturday into St. Maarten from Paris as of January 13, 2018, up until March 23, 2018.

A 275-seater Airbus A340 will fly into Princess Juliana Airport SXM from Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport weekly on Saturdays.
The airline said in a release this flight complements the other two special direct flights from Paris-Charles de Gaulle for Christmas, on December 23 and 24, 2017, and on January 6 and 7, 2018.
The latest announcement is an addition to the daily flights from Paris-Orly to Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe, with the onward service to Esperance Airport, Grand Case, provided by partner Air Antilles.
It added every Saturday in December 2017 an Air France Airbus A320 will make the link between Pointe-à-Pitre and Princess Juliana to enable connections for the long-haul flights between Pointe-à-Pitre and Paris-Orly.
Concerning St. Barths, the island is served currently by the daily Air France flight from Paris-Orly to Pointe à Pitre and partner Air Antilles, but as of January 13, 2018, Winair will make the connection to St. Barths from Princess Juliana Airport every Saturday.
And in the first trimester of 2018, there will be a daily flight, except Saturdays, between Point-à-Pitre and Paris Charles de Gaulle using an Airbus 340, to reinforce the existing outward and return flights to Paris-Orly.
