Police ordered the destruction on Saturday of several unclaimed scooters and motorcycles that had been confiscated for traffic violations or for other investigations.
Police announced earlier this year that owners of these bikes should come forward and claim their property. Only those persons with valid documents that could prove ownership had the chance to visit the police station and claim their scooter or motorcycle.
