Telecommunications company EUTEL NV gave back to the community of St. Eustatius on Friday in helping to paint two homes.
EUTEL’s managing director/chief executive officer Maryteresse “Liesje” Lijfrock-Redan (second right) said they adopted the Lester Residence in Oranjestad where Jennie Cuvalay resides. A second project that needed to be finished was the home of senior citizen “Miss” Elsie Thompson. EUTEL employees said they were “thankful” to be able to give back to the community. They were joined by volunteers, who assisted with painting the homes. EUTEL provided breakfast and lunch for the team.
