A five-day assessor’s training is part of the introduction of the Caribbean Vocational Qualification in St. Eustatius. In the training, organised by Dutch Government Service Caribbean Netherlands RCN, in conjunction with the Council for Education and the Labour Market ROA, trainees of local secondary schools will learn to assess vocational skills of students for their eventual profession. Held at Caribbean Netherlands Science Institute (CNSI) this week, the course is conducted by Technical and Vocational Training TVET Council in Barbados, and is meant for teaching staff, as well as for labour market professionals. The same training was also held in Saba last week.
