MARIGOT--The 2017 edition of popular nautical guide Turquoise is currently being distributed around the island, its editor Brigitte Delaître disclosed.

The magazine is also celebrating its 10th anniversary. Created in 2006 by President of the Marine Trades Association Métimer, Bülent Gülay, the objective was to produce an annual guide to promote development of the nautical sector and all activities linked to this sector; boat yards, ship chandlers, artisans but also all activities proposed to tourists.

The free guide is available in locations typically frequented by sailors, pleasure boaters and tourists; in marinas, tourism offices and hotel activity desks. Printed in English and French, the guide covers St. Martin, St. Maarten, Anguilla, St. Barths, Saba and St. Eustatius.

The guide is a very useful tool to recommend activities, water sports and excursions while sailors can find all the information they need to repair their boats or find accessories and parts.

The 180-page 2017 edition printed in France is enhanced by new aerial photos of anchorages and beaches. Editor and journalist Brigitte Delaître’s objective is to update and add new information, in part based on her own experience of cruising the Caribbean waters for 10 years.

The guide can also be viewed on line at www.turquoise-guide.com.
