SXM Festival announces the opening of Resident Pass sales, a special ticket category reserved for residents of Saint Martin / Sint Maarten, for the 9th edition of the festival, taking place from March 18 to 22.
Since its launch in 2016, SXM Festival has become one of the Caribbean’s leading international music events, attracting visitors from around the world each year. During the most recent edition, the festival welcomed participants from 58 different countries, reinforcing Saint Martin’s position as a global destination for electronic music and cultural tourism.
Each year, SXM Festival mobilizes more than 200 employees and collaborators and works with numerous local businesses across sectors including event production, transportation, hospitality, security, food services, and tourism.
To allow the island’s residents to take part in this international event, SXM Festival offers a Resident Pass at a preferential rate, exclusively reserved for residents of Saint Martin / Sint Maarten. Access to the Resident Pass is strictly limited to verified residents.
Resident Pass holders will be required to present the following at entry:
- A valid government-issued photo ID.
- Proof of residency on the island.
Seasonal workers will also be eligible for the Resident Pass rate by presenting a payslip dated within the last two months, confirming their employment on the island. This measure allows individuals temporarily working in Saint Martin to also take part in the festival.
