Dive Right In @ Amstel Bright Beach Volleyball Tournament

This weekend is time for the second Annual Amstel Bright Beach Volleyball Tournament. In collaboration with the SXM Beach Volleyball Association and Da Waterhole, the sporty beach beer Amstel Bright created a platform where volleyball players both locally and regionally can come out and showcase their volleyball skills while taking part in a friendly competition.

The two-day event will take on Saturday, August 13, and Sunday, August 14. Mark your calendars because this is a beach party that you do not want to miss!

On the first day, the tournament will start at 8:30am, followed by a lunch break at 12 noon, after which the game will continue until 4:00pm. Following the game, DJ Stov3, DJ Em, and DJ Outkast will get everyone on the dancefloor for the official Amstel Bright after party!

On day two, the volleyball tournament will start at 11:00am. From 2:00pm, entertainment will be provided by DJ Prince and Remo & the Barbwire band.

There is a total of three competition categories: Men's Intermediate, Men's Advance and Mixed competition. Trophies and medals will be awarded to the winners of these competitions, along with some Amstel Bright goodies, of course.

Volleyball is not your thing? No problem. There will be spectator games such as cornhole and an Amstel Bright scavenger hunt. Spectators are encouraged to participate for a chance to win lunch for two at Da Waterhole, as well as other cool prizes – and you’re obviously more than welcome to party with Amstel Bright at the official after party!

Whether you play or not, a day of fun in the sun would not be complete without drinks and snacks. That is why there will be plenty $2 Amstel Bright and Heineken beers and $10 bucket specials; and Da Waterhole will be providing special food deals throughout the event weekend.
