Watt de Neuf organising Christmas Run in Marigot

MARIGOT—Christmas may still seem a long way off to most but Watt de Neuf is preparing early for their annual Christmas relay night run to be held on Friday, December 18 on the Marigot waterfront.
Teams should have five runners, one of which must be female. A feature of this fun race is to celebrate the spirit of Christmas by dressing up in festive costumes or Santa Clause outfits. The 1.9K circuit around Marigot remains the same. Runners will pass their fluorescent batons on to a team mate at the changeover point on the waterfront.
Prizes will be awarded to winners in all categories afterwards as well as prizes for family teams. Adding to the Christmas ambience will be a traditional band playing live music in the market place.
Entry fee is 10 euros or $10. A waiver must also be signed. Participants will be informed at a later date when they can pay the registration fee and pick up their numbers. Online is available on the Watt de Neuf Facebook page.
