ST. EUSTATIUS -- The first place Thunderz played Young Kings in the St. Eustatius softball association competition at Cranston Ballfield over the weekend. Thunderz dethroned Young Kings 17-6.
Winning pitcher was Reinier Dinzey.
Wednesday night game between the Dynamite and Los Tiburones was cancelled due to excessive water on the ball field caused by the tropical wave that was passing the island.
Action is expected to continue Saturday when the City boys will take on Los Tiburones at 4:00pm.
The second game will feature Thunders and second place Lions starting at 6:00pm. against the City Boys 3:00pm and Dynamite battle Young Kings at 5:00pm.
