COLE BAY--The 12th Annual Summer Graduation and Demonstration for the youth Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) and Muay Thai kickboxing students was held June 6 to 8. The Summer graduation ceremony showcased the students' skills through sparring matches, highlighting their dedication and progress achieved through rigorous training and discipline.
Outstanding students were honored with belts, stripes and arm band rankings as well as achievement coins for their exceptional discipline, technical skills, improvement, and helpfulness within the SXM BJJ community. SXM BJJ prioritizes the development of students beyond physical techniques, emphasizing the use of martial arts for self-defense and organized competitions only. Street fighting and bullying are strictly prohibited.
