St. Maarten athletes Alan Schet and Cameron Hyman travelled to Trinidad for a CrossFit Throwdown on August 12.
The competition was organized by CrossFit 12-12-12 and featured high level regional athletes. There were five events. Schet missed the podium by one place. He placed sixth in the first event, 10 in event two a, second in two b, 11 in three, fifth in the fourth event and third in the fifth event. Hyman is only in his second year training under a serious program. “He is fearless in going up against all those athletes,” reported Schet. He concluded, “It was a great weekend and we had a good time in Trinidad. Time to come back home, recover and start building again.” The trip was made possible by Labdemed, GEBE, Loumi Administrative, Pineapple Pete’s and Sushitto.
