ANTIGUA—Team St. Maarten won their opening game as they competed in the East Caribbean Volleyball Association Men’s Volleyball Championship. St. Maarten faced Dominica and won in five sets.
The Friendly Island is set to play St. Vincent and St. Lucia in the first round.
Representing St. Maarten are Nicholas Henrietta, Riegmar Valies, Daron Brison, Marshall Leone. Allinton Augustine, Rajheem Meulens, Leonardo Jeffers, Eckersly Servani, Jagdeo Gumbs and Xavern Ellis. The head coach is Clayton Holiday and he is assisted by Raymond Jacobs.
