CAY HILL--Approximately 60 young soccer players took to the field to help raise funds for various Charities in the community. The RISC Taker Footbal Club Children for Children run raised more than US $4600.
On December 15, 2020 RISC Takers organized their second edition of the Children for Children run. The participating teams were RISC Takers Under 7, Under 9 (including the girls team) and Under 11.
Earlier this month four Childrens organisations were made happy with donations they received from RISC Taker FC.
RISC TAKERS soccer moms were able to select and coordinate the presentation of the donations to Adopt an Art Child Kids program led by artist Tes Verheij, SaveHaven under the Direction of Vanessa Fraser, Excellence Learning Academy and New Start Foundation.
New Start Foundation was aided with a renovation bathroom project for the home, to faciliate that they growing younsters in the home to have more space for hygienic purposes.
Two children will receive an art scholarship to help continue their talent development with the help of well known artist Tes Verheij and her youth program Adopt an art child for 1 year.
Excellence Learning Academy received a donation of sports equipment for the physical education program which contributes to the fitness, health and motor development of the children attending the school.
Safe Haven got a donation of sanitary and hygiene supplies.
RISC TAKERS Children for Children run is hosted every year in December.
RISC Takers FC is happy to give back to the community, help develope great dymanic atlethic and team buidling skills in the young players but also to stimulate community spirit to think of others in need and to support where they can.
