MARIGOT--Association Watt de Neuf will be organising its popular Christmas-themed “Glow Fun Run” over two days on Friday, December 9 and Saturday, December 10.

This is the 13th edition of the event which sees participants run through Marigot in costumes (not mandatory but recommended) while enjoying the camaraderie, humour and Christmas spirit. The slogan this year is “where the magic of Christmas will always be.”
Running Night is a 1.9K run and walk relay race taking place in the heart of Marigot. The centre of attention is always the transition area on the waterfront where team members exchange the baton at high speed cheered on wildly by supporters and team mates.
The race on Friday, December 9, starts at 8:00pm on the waterfront. As in previous years there will be five persons to a team, one of whom must be female. Participation fee is 10 euros. The event village is open from 6:30pm.
For children, Kids Running Night is on Saturday, December 10, starting at 5:30pm in the same location for a shorter 1K race. The village is open from 4:30pm. There will be five children per team, one of whom must be a girl. Registration is free. Minimum age for registration is three-years-old, accompanied by an adult.
The programme includes live music, animation, stands and prize giving ceremony. Lots of prizes to be won. Prizes will be presented in the Best Team categories of Family, Mixed, Women, Costumes and Juniors. The first three places in each category will be rewarded.
Registration is open now on, or register by phone on (0690) 48.67.91 or on site at the CLOUDCOM 97 agency located in Waterloo Alley, Marigot. All bibs and participation kits can be picked up at the CLOUDCOM 97 agency.
