ST. EUSTATIUS, Phoenix played Chardonnays in the female division of the St. Eustatius Volleyball Association on Tuesday evening. The Phoenix ended their recent losing streak by defeating the Chardonnays 3-1.
In other overall Volleyball competition news, the third round of the SEVA championship also came to a close.
The standings show that the Chardonnays team are in first place with 36 points, coming in in 2nd place is Phoenix with 29 points, Bomb Threats shuffle into third place with 23 points, and rounding out the female division is the Intense Divas in fourth place with 12.
The Male Standings show Dynamite is in first place with 23 points, Heavy Hitters is in second with 12 points and Block Busters is third with 5 points.
Bomb Threats battling it out against the Chardonnays in the female division and Phoenix meets Intense Divas on April 12, starting at 7:30pm at the Earl N. Merkman Sports Auditorium.
