PHILIPSBURG--The St. Maarten National Swim Team is headed to the 2016 CARIFTA Games, from March 22 to 26 in Martinique.
After a careful selection process, eight swimmers, Sharmar Thomas, Kiemoy Fleming, Quinton Cornelius, Justin Williams, Keanu Jacobs Guishard, Sarah Courtar, S’Ade Williams and Gabriel de Vries made the team.
The selection will be led by head coach Burton Theodora with help from Nicole Maccow and Robbert Schrijvers of the St. Maarten Aquatic Federation which is accreditation by FINA (World Swimming Federation),
At CARIFTA the local swimmers will be competing against 24 other Caribbean Nations.
