 Dutch Quarter wins first Netball Community Game

ST. PETERS—Dutch Quarter bested Middle Region 32-19 in the opening game of the St. Maarten Netball Association’s Youth Community League on Sunday.


Six communities are fielding teams in the competition that runs to April 25. Competing are St. Peters, Middle Region, Dutch Quarter, Simpson Bay and Cay Hill.
In other games St. Peters beat Cay Hill 25-11 and Simpson Bay devastated Cole Bay 24-2.
“The girls were in full colons and played fantastic games,” said Lisa Timothy of the Netball Association.
“The community came out and cheered on the girls.”
Netball continues Sunday at the St. Peters Community Center Court starting at 4:00pm.
