Former Dutch international footballers Johan Neeskens, midfielder, and Stanley Menzo, keeper, are on St. Maarten and helped train the national team at Raoul Illidge Sports Complex Monday.
They were working with the team and local trainers Elvis Albertus and Fabian Francis. The pair will work with more players and coaches tomorrow afternoon and will help officiate the formal opening of the new mini-pitch at Emilio Wilson Park on Thursday. The St. Maarten Football Federation (SXMFF), in cooperation with Rainforest Adventures NV (Rainforest), the Royal Netherlands Football Association (KNVB) and the Royal Belgian Football Association invested in the construction of a mini-football field which had a soft opening August 6.
