Dikers Sports Training Academy Foundation to host March Madness event

ST. EUSTATIUS –The Dikers Sports Training Academy Foundation will be hosting a March Madness basketball event, where all roads will lead to the Earl Merkman Sports Hall. The games will take place over a four (4) day period Thursday to Sunday. The event will feature ten  teams from seven islands that will be going up against each other for the Championship in different age groups.

Home Team St Eustatius will have 2 Teams under 18 and also an adult team, Nevis will have 2 Teams, and the British Virgin Islands will have 2 teams. Islands competing with 1 team each are St. Martin, Saba, Anguilla and St. Kitts. 

 The organisers are asking the public on the island to come out and support the youths and cheer them on. Dikers Sports Training Academy Foundation will be defending their 2024 championship. The teams from Statia were winners of both age groups in the March Madness 2024 competition which was held on St Eustatius.
