Close to 300 persons took part in Dream Of Trails’ Night Run

BELLEVUE--The 11th edition of the Night Run (Noctambule) organised by Dream of Trails Association  took place Saturday evening at the Bellevue Rasta Gardens, with the majority of participants wearing Halloween costumes.

Two courses were on offer, a short 4K and a longer 8K for more experienced trail runners. Although courses are well marked, wearing a head light was mandatory. The 4K was clearly the most popular of the two, appealing to families, children and walkers. With a big difference in age groups in the 4k, it was the youngest runners who took the lead.

First place in the 4K went to Ethan Marliacy Anais (14) in a time of 23:07, second place went to Lou Blaineau (11) in 24:42, and third place to Lucas Daviaud (10) in 25:05.

The first females to finish were Delphine Lapierre in 27: 15, just two seconds in front of Berit Bus (27:15) and third place to Stephane Ferron in 27:36.

The 8K run was won by Gautier Mathieu de Fossey in 50:35, followed by Gregory Pigeon second in 52:00, and third Guillaume Jamet 52:41.

The first females to finish the 8K were Roma  Dhanani in 1:09:41 and Floor van der Meulen who both tied on exactly the same time. Third Place went to Fanny Hamel in 1:12:08. A total of 24 women ran the 8K distance.
