MARIGOT—Association SXM Sport Movement organised a successful multi-sports event on the ground between Super U and McDonald's in Marigot on November 11, St. Martin day. The event allowed young people to discover different sports.

Competitions were organised on a part of the Super U car park dedicated to Futsal, with teams grouping together in the U11, U13 and U17 categories. A baseball match, with U13s from both parts of the island also took place. This was a hard-fought game by young players who did not want to give up.

"We are a very motivated association working to help both sides of the island develop sport and to unite the territory. We need everyone to bring sport back to life", SXM Sport Movement President, Julius Richardson, said.
The sports event was made possible by the Préfecture, the Collectivité, McDonald's, Super U, the LVMO company, the French union of secular physical education UFOLEP, the French Sport for All Federation, as well as David, the owner of the land where the event took place.
