St. Maarten home-grown boxing athlete Kesny Joseph is on vacation on island. His long-time mentor Shawn "Pitbull" Blaire welcomed the boxer back home and wished him all the best with his growing career.
He trained with Blaire before he left for Guyana to further his profession. Blaire said on Sunday that he made the move several years ago due to lack of opportunity on-island. In 2015 he became the Caribbean Development boxing champion and in 2017 he won a lightweight title in France.
