MIAMI – League A action at the 2026/2027 Concacaf Nations League Group Stage continued on Sunday with three Caribbean wins across Group A.
Haiti 2, Costa Rica 0
Haiti kicked off Group A Sunday action with a 2-nil win against Costa Rica at the Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica.
Haiti was ready to start the goal count for the day early on in the match, Jean-Ricner Bellegarde sending a right foot shot past the Costa Rica defensive line in the 9’.
An own goal by Francisco Calvo in the 39’ secured the second goal and win for the Caribbeans in Group A.
Curaçao 6, Nicaragua 1
The Blue Wave secured their second win in Group A with a 6-1 win over Nicaragua at Stadion Ergilio Hato in Willemstad, Curaçao.
The Caribbeans stepped up in the first minutes of the second half, scoring the first goal after Livano Comenencia sent a right foot shot from outside the box in the 6’.
A shot from the left side of the box by Kenji Gorré secured the second goal for Curaçao in the 11’. Leandro Bacuna scored the third of the night in the 19’ with a header from a corner kick.
Juninho Bacuna continued the Blue Wave’s tally in the 27’, scoring their fourth goal. With a right foot shot in the area Gorré sealed a brace and the fifth goal of the night for Curaçao.
Jaime Moreno pulled one back for Nicaragua in the 62’ with a left foot volley from outside the box. Jürgen Locadia closed the goal count for Curaçao in the 88’, scoring the sixth a final goal that secured their second win in Group A.
Trinidad & Tobago 1, Dominican Republic 2
Dominican Republic sealed a 2-1 win against Trinidad & Tobago to close Group A Sunday action at Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago.
Daniel Phillips gave the Soca Warriors the early lead in the match, sending a right foot banger from the edge of the box to the back of the net in the 37’.
The Dominican Republic pulled one back before the half time whistle, in the 42’, thanks to a right foot long shot by Heinz Mörschel. The Quisqueyanos completed the comeback after Mariano Díaz scored a right foot shot in the 50’.
