ST. GEORGE’S, Grenada--The management team of the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Economy and Culture recently convened a management retreat at the True Blue Bay Resort, aimed at strengthening leadership capacity and setting strategic priorities for the first quarter of 2026.

The retreat, which is now an annual initiative of the ministry, provided an opportunity for divisional heads to review their division’s accomplishments in 2025, assess areas for improvement, and present their strategic action plans for the months ahead. The engagement also focused on team building and reinforcing a shared vision for sustained growth and excellence across the ministry.

As part of the programme, the team participated in a motivational session titled Leading the Legacy, Cultivating Culture, Empowering Generations, facilitated by Edward Frederick. The session challenged participants to embrace authentic, inclusive leadership, unlock the potential of multi-generational teams, and foster a culture rooted in initiative, creativity, and continuous development.

Minister for Tourism, Creative Economy and Culture Adrian Thomas commended the management team for the strong performance throughout 2025 and charged them to exceed expectations in 2026. He emphasised the importance of strategic thinking, collaboration and innovation as the ministry continues to advance national development priorities.

The minister’s remarks were reinforced by Permanent Secretary Desiree Stephen and Parliamentary Secretary Senator Quinc Britton, both of whom encouraged the team to remain focused, adaptive, and results-driven in the year ahead.

Similar management engagements will be held quarterly to review progress, provide updates, and align strategic plans for upcoming quarters. ~ Now Grenada ~
