VOICES Foundation recognised Emancipation Day with its seventh annual appreciation ceremony at Emilio Wilson Park on Sunday.
The ceremony, attended by Governor Eugene Holiday, Prime Minister Leona Romeo-Marlin, Ministers Wycliffe Smith and Cornelius de Weever and a wide cross section of the community, sought to also recognise “Unsung Heroes” of the island.
