Melisa St. Hilaire and Eva Lopez Guzman obtained Dutch nationality during a brief ceremony at the Government Administration Building in The Bottom, Saba, on Tuesday,
June 9. During the naturalisation ceremony, Island Governor Jonathan Johnson read two documents, both in Dutch, individually to each new Dutch national, after which they took the oath. The candidates had to comply with several conditions to qualify for Dutch nationality and can now apply for Dutch passports.
