Tourism in focus

Parliament’s Committee for Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transportation and Telecommunication (TEATT) continued its meeting with Minister Stuart Johnson in Parliament House on Wednesday.

The focus was on plans to market the destination to boost the economy, and working on getting the country back to United States Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) Category 1 and preventing dropping to Category 3. Several air traffic agreements are in the works and so are efforts to market the country in its main source markets as well as to expand more into South America. The meeting was suspended until further notice, at which time the remaining agenda points will be handled.
