St. Maarten AIDS Foundation hosted its annual candlelight memorial service on Sunday, May 19, in remembrance of those who have passed on and those affected by HIV/AIDS.
This year’s memorial was themed “Intensifying the fight for health and rights”. Health Minister Emil Lee commended the foundation on the developments made over the years, including recent recognition by international foundations. Lee underscored the importance of improved health care options and access to care close to home for residents.
