Fete de la Cuisine Foundation hosted a thanksgiving lunch for police officers on St. Maarten Day, in appreciation for the hard work and dedication of law enforcement officers; many of whom worked in spite of trying personal circumstances, said Foundation President Henri Brookson.
A large tent was erected in front of the police headquarters for the men and women in blue to relax and enjoy food and soft drinks throughout the busy St. Maarten Day schedule. Supporting the effort were Mark’s Place, Surinamese chef Diane, beverage company CC1, Isidore “Mighty Dow” York and Philipsburg Promotional Committee.
