POND ISLAND--TelEm Group technicians and engineers will be carrying out an upgrade to the company’s transmission network Tuesday, November 27, which will affect telecommunication services.
As a result of the works, landline, Internet and mobile voice and data services will be affected. The maintenance window is scheduled to go into effect from 11:00pm Tuesday until 5:00am Wednesday. During this period customers can expect temporary interruptions in service.
TelEm Group said in a press release on Monday the upgrade and maintenance window is required to improve equipment and system performance and will be carried out with the assistance of an overseas vendor who will be working along with TelEm Group technicians and engineers.
TelEm Group management apologizes to customers and the public for any inconvenience caused by any interruption in service due to maintenance window.
