Tasyanna to represent St. Martin in St. Kitts

MARIGOT--St. Martin Carnival Teen Queen 2017 Tasyanna Clifton will participate in the 38th Annual Haynes Smith Miss Caribbean Talented Teen Queen pageant in St. Kitts on Saturday, December 30.

She will be the first contestant to represent French St. Martin in this pageant, Festivités Carnavalesques de St. Martin (FCDSM) announced.
Tasyanna will be vying for the crown with six other contestants from Anguilla, Antigua, Barbados, Guyana, St. Lucia, and St. Kitts.
“This is an honour to have our Queen participate for the first time,” said FCDSM President Luciana Raspail. “It will be a great opportunity for us to showcase our culture and resilience despite the aftermath of the hurricanes.”
Tasyanna will be competing in the introduction, theatrical wear, talent, evening wear and interview segments.
“She is very positive and has been preparing for the show with her chaperones from the Sky Consultancy team,” Raspail added. “She will be leaving this evening for St. Kitts and has a full itinerary prepared with the other contestants before the big day. We are confident she will represent the island to the best of her abilities and will make us proud. She has our full support and we wish her nothing but the best.”
FCDSM thanked Sky Consultancy, Euphoria, Sign Triple Nine, and St. Martin Tourism Office for their support.
