As a result of the recent anti-drug trafficking operations conducted by the Gendarmerie on January 17 and 18, a significant quantity of food, clothing and other items stolen after Hurricane Irma was found in the home of one of the suspects arrested.
The owner of the stolen items has not been identified and therefore Section de Recherches Departmentale (SRD) in St. Martin decided to donate the goods to St. Martin Red Cross representative Zalissa Niset on Wednesday. The goods will be distributed to persons in need.
