Acting Minister of Public Housing, Spatial Planning, Environment and Infrastructure VROMI Silveria Jacobs stated during Wednesday’s Council of Ministers press briefing that VROMI is still in talks with the company in Aruba responsible to carry out repairs to the only traffic light in St. Maarten. The traffic light has been out for several months and motorists continue to fear every time they pass the junction before crossing over. She expects VROMI to come to an agreement soon and resolve the matter.
