SYNOPSIS: 

A drier and more stable air mass is moving into the region. As a result mostly fair skies can be expected during this forecast period.

Seas are forecast to remain slight to moderate during the next few days.

STATE OF THE SEA: Slight to moderate       WAVES/SWELLS: 3 to 5 feet

 

SPECIAL FEATURE:  At 11am, Tropical Storm Ian continued its north-northwestward track over the Central Atlantic and poses no threat to St. Maarten.
The Meteorological Department of St. Maarten will continue to monitor the progress of this system.

OUTLOOK through Thursday midday: Fair to partly cloudy with a passing shower possible.
